The LGBT Community Center at 2114 Decatur and FAB Books at 600 Frenchmen will be the anchors, with tables and information available in front of participating organizations. The event will span Frenchmen between Chartres and Decatur and around the corner unto Decatur itself. <br> <br> The event is open to participation by any LGBTQ friendly organization or business. Also, chairs are scarce, so please bring your own.<br> <br> It's a great way to find out what's going on in the LGBT community, get an autographed book, be tested for HIV, meet new people and hang out in the Gay Triangle near a variety of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. <br> <br> Special events already scheduled for the day include National HIV Testing Day, with CAN (Community Awareness Network) at 507 Frenchmen having special testing hours from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. FAB will be having author readings and signings. Scheduled to appear are <span style="font-weight: bold;">Claude J. Summers</span>, editor of the GLBT Encyclopedia series including The <span style="font-style: italic;">Queer Encyclopedia of the Visual Arts</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">The Queer Encyclopedia of Film</span> and Television and <span style="font-style: italic;">The Queer Encyclopedia of Music, Dance and Musical Theater</span>, <br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Greg Herren</span>, a two-time Lambda Literary Award winning author and editor.
