2009 WINE, FOOD & MUSIC  EVENT
THURSDAY OCTOBER 15, 6-9 pm

	200 WINES, 11 RESTAURANTS and LIVE ENTERTAINMENT BY MAYRONNE & CHASE


The Seventh Annual Reds, Whites & The Blues, the exciting wine, food  
and music event, returns to City Park’s Pavilion of the Two Sisters  
on Thursday October 15, 2009 from 6-9 pm.
Select Brands wine brokers and Gambit Weekly host the event to  
benefit the Big Easy Entertainment Awards Foundation for  
Entertainment Development and Education which supports music, theatre  
and the classical performing arts through acknowledgement, grants and  
gifts.

What makes this event so special?  The wines (more than 200 this  
year), the performing talent; the Harry Mayronne Trio with special  
guest vocalist Leah Chase, and the raffle (150 bottle Wine  
Collection), plus culinary offerings from eleven of the top  
restaurants in our area.

Participating wine distributors include:  Avenue Wines, Paul Bologna  
Fine Wines, Doerries International, International Wine & Spirits,  
Live Oak Wine & Spirits, Republic National Distributing Company,  
Select Wines, Uncorked Importers & Distributors of Fine Wine, and  
Wines Unlimited.

There will be some southern spirits in the house as well,
Piedmont Distillery’s Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine and Junior  
Johnson’s Midnight Moonshine Lightning Lemonade.

Event Tickets are $60 in advance, $70 at the door. Parties of 6 or  
more get a $10 per ticket discount ($50 per ticket) when purchased  
before October 8, 2009.  You don't have to be present to win the 150  
Bottle Instant Wine Collection. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $20.
