"There’s widespread criticism of the rebuilding efforts there…are there any success stories we should know about?
Honestly,none. The country failed and learned nothing. This was a neoliberaldisaster. It is bigger than New Orleans and we need to rethink how weorganize and configure all of our cities — not just New Orleans. NewOrleans is rebuilding sprawl in low-lying vulnerable areas while tryingto build an upscale entertainment spectacle on the high ground. This isa recipe for another disaster."
